Logan is good-looking, even if he doesn't think it. Tall, muscular and broad-shouldered, he has the dream physique of every person in the swimming team, and most of the school. He is very active person, eats well, and it shows. Approximately, he stands at 6 feet, with blonde hair and blue eyes. To many who don't know him, he appears like a typical jock, and has often been sneered at because of his so-called 'pretty-boy' features.

His dress sense does nothing to help his case, often wearing preppy, neat clothes that appear to be expensive, even if they're not. Shirts and ties are a staple in his closet, as are black jeans. Being very fond of colour and vibrancy, his favourite combination is blue, black and white – understated yet undeniably classy. It is a rare day that he gets caught out looking scruffy or unkempt. Even though he doesn't spend hours on his appearance, it just seems to fall into place with him. He always tries to look his best, believing that presentation is
always important, no matter what day it is.

Personality:
Personality- wise, Logan is very much like a typical water elemental. He is closely in touch with his emotions, and often lets them run his life. A very emotional person, Logan believes that relying on your 'gut instinct' and 'going with the flow' is the way to make it through every day. He doesn't believe in beguiling or blind-siding others, always wanting to do right by them. Lying is
almost impossible for Logan. He wears his heart on his sleeve and his expressions on his face. Open, honest and kind, he will never leave a friend out to dry.

He notices things that others don't, able to understand and empathise with many. Logan is very observant, noticing certain details and aspects of a situation that others do not. A friendly person, he enjoys close contact with others, and is always open to the formation of more close emotional friendships. Logan considers every one of his friends important and unique, often showing affection through touch, or gifts. Romantic, sentimental and loving, he is sweet and caring to
all, especially his female friends. At times, he can be over-protective of his friends, and stand in their defence even when he knows that they have done something wrong. Strangely, Logan has acquired many female friends over the years, and finds it awkward when talking to the guys in his class. Its not that he is shy or unable to communicate, but rather, being so in touch with his emotions, part of the swim team, good at understanding women and a very artistic person has made others assume that he is gay.

Being a very impressionable person, he has been made use of by unscrupulous individuals numerous times in the past. Though he has always been saved by his secure and well-founded beliefs, the danger of being a pawn is always present in Logan's life as his powers increase. Logan spends more time helping others than himself, and although he is a bright student, his habit of helping others in their
work often ends him on the wrong end of the teacher's rule. Still, he can be incredibly stubborn at times when he believes he is right, even though he is too polite to ever say that he is.

Special abilities/talents: A great sportsman, especially skilled in swimming. Also very artistic in terms of photography and clay sculpting.

Power(s): Logan has quite a good control over his abilities, able to control water and bend it effectively to his will. His power itself isn't very strong, and the water must be very close to him in order for him to manipulate it the way he wishes. He can breathe underwater, and is ridiculously fast when it comes to swimming.

History: Logan was born James Valentine on a cold winter's night, the one-night stand of Kristen Valentine and her secret lover, James. He had been named after his father in order to be a reminder of his mother's love for him, and nicknamed Logan by his maternal grandmother. Kristen was a flighty bird, often leaving Mysteria to see the world, and 'enjoy life', leaving his grandmother Maya to take care of the growing boy.

Being brought up in the relative small suburbia of Mysteria, Logan was exposed to the presence of supernatural entities by Maya since young, and thought little of them as otherworldly beings just trying to make their way in this world. He was protected by his grandmother, who cared intensively for the young boy, making sure that he enjoyed school, made friends and lived life as a normal child, despite his lack of parents. He was taught the olden ways of etiquette: holding
doors open for company; being polite and gentlemanly at all times; offering to pay when out with others. His life was built up around these firm sets of rules, centred strongly on the belief that he should be an upright, strong man who had the potential to change his life and his destiny.

It was only fairly recent, perhaps two weeks after his 16th birthday that he discovered he had an affinity with water. He had been out with a few friends, having a swim in the local pool. Someone had brought a joint, and his friends had started smoking heavily. Not one to indulge or dabble in illegal activities, Logan has sat aside, chatting to a couple of girls whom he'd known from school. There was a sudden splash, one of his doped up friends sinking down to the bottom of the pool like a rock. Diving straight in, he had wrapped an arm around the
boy's chest, pulling him up to the surface. The large-sized, drugged and flailing boy was not cooperating, his fists and feet striking Logan several times in the chest and stomach, knocking the wind right out of him. Unwilling to let go, he held on, expecting to start drowning, to suffocate. Except he didn't.

The event opened his eyes to the inhuman part of Mysteria, as he quite suddenly found himself on the other side of the fence. Keeping his abilities a secret, he practices his powers religiously at the lake. Despite the lack of guidance, Logan has found distinct pleasure in watching his abilities grow. He can't wait for the day that he can use his powers as easily as he breathes.

Flaws: Snooping around after dark, unintentionally eaves-dropping on other people's conversations and just being where he isn't wanted, Logan is plagued by a constant sense of CURIOSITY. It is part of his character, as he worries about others, he grows increasingly curious about why they are the way they are. Sometimes, unable to contain his curiosity, Logan may burst out with an
inappropriate comment towards their situation, inadvertently getting into a lot of trouble. He has stumbled across very dangerous situations due to his curiosity, and has paid the price. Unfortunately, in the case of this particular trait, he has yet to learn his lesson. NAIVETE is another issue of Logan's, and he is always to believe the best in people. Because he is so open and honest, he believes that everyone else is the same as well. Innocent until definitely proven guilty, no one is out to harm another – at least, that is what he thinks. Even if he has been hurt or harmed by someone else, it is never their fault, but caused by the situation or the environment. Logan has been known to speak to some dangerous, seedy characters in an attempt to help them, and has been very lucky
to escape with his life so far. A SOFT-HEARTED boy, he will let others get away with doing almost anything that can be done to hurt him. When asked, Logan will do anything a friend or acquaintance wants him to do, unless it is against his moral values. He wants to do right by others, and help out as many as he can. Wanting to make a difference in the world, he has often been bullied into doing things for others, hoping that by doing so, he can change them and the town that he lives in.

Merits:Ever since he was a little boy, Logan has always had a strange sort of AFFINITY WITH ANIMALS. It may be due to his open, kind-hearted ways, or his caring nature, but all sorts of animals seem to be drawn to him. He was the boy all the dogs went to first, the one that the cats would curl up and rub against. Animals just love him, and he them. The pet of his hand is able to calm even the most enraged bulldog, and the flightiest of birds are willing to perch on his wrist or shoulder. Logan is also a FAST LEARNER, able to pick up activities
without having much practice. Often applying to his ability with sports, a day of training enables him to understand the mechanics and finesse of an activity that may take others weeks or months to get. Observing and mimicking the action of others seems to give him more than just muscle memory, and he is fairly proficient at many sports and artistic methods of escape because of this.
